Y’all… so I guess February was NOT my worst reading month yet, and things are going to get much worse. This month I only read one book (it was a great book, but still) because of how busy my schedule is getting. The tennis season also started this month, so things are going to be crazy until June. I’m getting very behind on my 2022 reading goal, but that’s okay because sometimes life happens!

The Roughest Draft by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka

This is such a hidden gem in the adult romance genre! If you enjoyed People We Meet on Vacation, this has a very similar premise to that book. It also has all the romantic angst of Normal People. I loved all of the tension and the will-they-won’t-they between Nathan and Katrina, and I thought that their characters were extremely well written and complex. They each had personal growth throughout the story, which led them to having a healthier relationship with one another. Though cheesy at times, this book about ex-cowriters falling in love all over again was so beautiful. Rating: 5 stars
